Zero Fox Given

Just look at the confidence of this little guy pootling around the garden at 4am this morning!!!

To be fair he had visited slightly earlier this morning so had clearly been sussing the place out. You can see his white tipped [and very straight] tail. He seems a bit young to be wandering about by himself [for all I know these are two separate foxes]. According to BBC Wildlife, cubs tend to stay with the adults until July; although it mentions that they will sometimes leave the den if it's been too hot [perhaps that week in May?] and if this happens the parents will often split the litter [leaving some in one place to hide, and the rest in a different place]. Perhaps this has happened here?
